Hi there,

We had an absolutely beautiful engagement session at the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens with Deanna and Adam. In addition to being an iconic location, the Vizcaya is also a very popular place for engagements, weddings, and couples. The day was extremely sunny and hot, so I looked for areas that were well shaded and matched the couple's wardrobe. What strikes me about Deanna and Adam at first glance is how tender and sweet they are together, and I admire how sophisticated, elegant, and polite they are towards others. They are also graceful and appreciative of the little details, which helped us connect even more because I consider myself the same way. My goal was to distract them from the hot Miami sun and get to know them better during their engagement session, so we spent a lot of time talking and getting to know each other. In spite of the hot weather in Miami, they were so patient and allowed me to take all the photos I needed. This impressed me considering we were there for three hours, but I would say it was worth it.

Deanna and Adam chose Vizcaya Museum and Gardens because they wanted a garden wedding. However, they have since changed their mind on the venue as they feel that the Miami weather is too risky. I just know their wedding will be stunning regardless.

Vizcaya Gardens and Museum is a breathtakingly picturesque location in Miami, Florida. The gardens are filled with beautiful flowers, lush greenery, majestic trees, and even romantic vine-covered gazebos. Not only that, but the architecture is absolutely stunning and historic. Their lawns are well maintained and elegant sculptures surround the area. In the event that you are looking for an elegant and historic location for your Miami engagement photos, I highly recommend the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.

A Miami Love Story & romantic proposal in croatia

Deanna and Adam first met through a mutual friend of theirs who kept trying to set them up together, and they eventually agreed. Their first date was dinner in Miami at their favorite resturant, and the rest was history! They dated two years before Adam proposed. One thing I always ask my couples is their proposal story so I can get to know them better. Heres what Deanna said:

“We were visiting Croatia last summer with some family. Adam was so cute actually, he waited for my parents to arrive (since they arrived a few days after us). He organized the most beautiful sunset picnic, basically on a cliff overlooking the sea. He told us all that he really wanted to show us this cool park that he found, so he drove us all out there. We walked through the park about 10 minutes and then there it was! The most magical experience!”

Deanna and Adam, you are such a beautiful, elegant, and sophisticated couple! Your sweet and tender love for each other is so beautiful, and this engagement session was nothing short of timeless and sophisticated!
