Hi there,

Marisa and Mario had the most beautiful engagement session at The Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami, Florida. Marisa hired me because her coworker recommended me to her. I had photographed Marisa's coworkers friend's wedding. She told her “You must hire Tati!” It’s always a great feeling when past clients and their family and friends recommend me! I worked with Marisa in planning the entire engagement session from the timing, location, and the wardrobe. These two really listened to my recomendations and together we chose the cutest outfits for their session! The moment I met Marisa and Mario I clicked with them instantly. They were super fun and easy going. They made the session super easy since they are so cute and natural with each other. Marisa and Mario are the kind of couple that laughs at everything and this makes the photos flow so naturally and are so easy to capture. They’re both full of so much energy and chemistry. We ended up talking so much to each other during the session that I feel like I have always known them!

A Naples Florida Love Story

Mario and Marisa met through online dating. In Marisa's words, Mario looked like the perfect family man, adventurous, and "pretty handsome ;)". His bio stated he lived in Miami, but he was originally from New Jersey, where Marisa is also from, so she was immediately intrigued! After speaking with Mario for a few days, Marisa discovered that he was staying only a few miles away. At Blue Martini in Naples, they had way too much to drink, shared a lot of laughs, and learned so much about one another. He asked her out the next day (although, according to him, that was Marisa's idea). They've been dating since November 2020 and are going to be married June 2024, and I'm so happy they chose me to take their engagement photos at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens!

One of my favorite things about engagement sessions and getting to know the TBP couples is learning of their proposal. Marisa shared their story:

“Mario is definitely a romantic (he gets it from his father), BUT he is not so great at secrets. He was acting a little strange all week; usually he is a level headed, relaxed, happy and go with the flow guy, but I saw a very restless man that week (haha). All kidding aside, I suppressed my suspicions and went with the flow all week. He took me to Key Biscayne on Friday, February 3, 2023 all the way down by the light house. He walked me onto the beach and I see a beautiful display of flowers, pillows, champagne and a whole collection of things as a violinist played our wedding song. It was so romantic and instantly brought tears to my eyes, not only because of how thoughtful everything was, but because I was seconds away from becoming the luckiest girl in the world as Mario’s future wife. He got down on one knee, we danced, we kissed, we laughed and toasted to a beautiful life together. He then surprised me with dinner at Casa Tua in Miami Beach where I found both of our parents who flew in for this special night. It meant the world to us that they were there to celebrate. The whole month of February was an endless celebration with most of our families flying in each weekend to celebrate!”

Marisa and Mario, you are such a beautiful couple and so incredible! Your love for each other is so beautiful and this engagement session was perfect! I love how romantic your proposal story was and getting to share laughs with you during our time together. I’m so happy for you both and just know your 2024 wedding will be spectacular!
