Rachel and Alex’s love story began in the most unexpected of places: a Zoom call. Amidst the chaos of the pandemic, their paths crossed, sparking a connection that would change their lives forever. What started as a professional relationship blossomed into a beautiful romance, fueled by late-night phone calls, shared dreams, and a growing affection.

Their first in-person date was a whirlwind of excitement and connection. After weeks of virtual dates, Rachel picked up Alex at the airport and took him to a hidden gem: a late-night salsa dancing and tapas restaurant. As they dined and danced the night away, they knew they had found something special.

A Dreamy Engagement Session

Rachel and Alex chose Vizcaya Museum & Gardens for their engagement session because, in their words, 'it felt like we were transported to Europe! The stunning architecture, lush gardens, and overall romantic atmosphere completely captivated us. We fell in love with the idea of creating "fairy tale" like photos in such a beautiful setting. Since they love to travel, it felt so special to dedicate an entire weekend to just the two of them and create new memories together.

"Rachel and Alex shared that their favorite part of being engaged has been "getting excited about the future and spending the rest of our lives together! The wedding is going to be incredible and we cannot wait for that day to come, but we are even more excited for all of the things that come after the “Big Day”. We had a long engagement (just over two years by the time we are married) so we’ve also loved getting to know each other on a deeper level and preparing for marriage."

Reflecting on their experience, Rachel and Alex shared that they have never done a professional photo shoot before, so it was really fun to get a taste of what it would be like on the wedding day. They were doing something new together and they had fun laughing through the awkwardness of being in front of the lens for the first time. “Tati was absolutely incredible throughout the entire day. She kept the energy so high, kept us laughing, made us feel like we were stars and helped us with every pose. We also LOVED getting to know her more! The whole experience made us even more excited and thankful that we will have her by our sides on our wedding day!!'"
