Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University Engagement Session | Boston Wedding Photographer

Hi there,

In Boston, any season is perfect for an engagement session. Couples tend to pick either the spring or fall but I do also find summer and winter lovely and beautiful as well.

Emily and Paul chose the Arnold Arboretum for their fall engagement session and finding new spots was a total adventure. I have photographed many couples at this locations and it always amazes me how I keep finding new spots in this magical earthy place.

Before the session I will go over details and ideas. We will be prepare to have fun and practice those in front of the camera moves that many couples are skeptical about it, not the case for Emily and Paul :) they were so into the session and they acted as if I wasn’t even there.

I advice my brides to bring a comfortable pair of shoes when shooting in a place where we will walk for a bit. We can change into your dressy shoes once we arrive to the spot. Those feet cant get tired, my brides need to be feeling great and energetic since they will probably take the lead in the shoots. Emily took my advice and she was great up to the last second of the session.

I also advise the couple to do a change of outfits. That way you will have two sets of different photos. The more the better in my mind.
